Part A: Identify two (2) ‘Tame Problems’ and two (2) ‘Wicked Problems’facing society today. Please refer to pages 64-66 of your textbook for a definition of a tame and wicked problem. Write 400 words describing each problem and explain why you have classified under that heading (tame vs wicked).



  • Label it ‘tame’ or ‘wicked’ (please justify) and then note key misconceptions or mistruths in relation to the problem

  • Discuss ethical responsibility to solve

  • Impacts on the economy, policy and society (Consider Figure 5.4 of the textbook).

  • Provide an example: Identify one campaign dedicated to solve the problem and briefly consider its impact (you will go into more detail in Assessment 2 Part B, so please keep it brief).

  • Use references
