Part I: For this writing assignment you will discuss the four major perspectives of Psychology and give an example of each · Biological- deals with bodily events and changes associated with actions, feelings and thoughts · Learning- deals with how the environment and experience affects a person’s /animals actions. Involves behaviorism and social-cognitive learning theories. · Cognitive- deals with mental processes in perception, memory, language, problem solving and other areas of behavior. (it deals with the brain perspective of behavior.) · Sociocultural- deals with the social and cultural influences on one’s behavior. For Part II: of the written assignment, explain why the following course objectives are important to understanding psychology: 1. Define the science of psychology. 2. Explain how genes, chromosomes, DNA, and genomes all relate to one another and their importance to psychology. 3. Identify and describe the major structures of the central nervous system and their primary functions. Please reference and include at least three scholarly articles within your response.
