Assignment Question For this assignment you are required to critically analyse a tourism organisation, and provide recommendations to enhance their sustainable tourism operations. To complete this assignment you may select any tourism organisation, for example a resort, a hotel, or a tour operator. Based on the tourism organisation you have selected, address the following: Provide background information relating to the tourism organisation. This may include where they are located, the current level of tourism development, infrastructure, its product/service, its target markets, and competitors. Evaluate the current sustainability of the tourism organisation. Following your evaluation, provide clear recommendations for the organisation to improve its sustainable operations. Within these recommendations it is expected that practical examples of how improvements can be made will be provided. Make use of relevant theories and concepts when you are answering this assignment question. Important Assignment Instructions The required word length for this assignment is 2500 words (plus or minus 10%). In terms of structure, presentation and style you are normally required to use: - AIB standard report format; and - AIB preferred Microsoft Word settings; and - Harvard style referencing (which includes in-text citations plus a reference list). These requirements are detailed in the AIB Style Guide.
