In this report we will discuss about designing a website which is based on the online food ordering system. The aim of this website is to digitalize the different operations of the resturant. It will allow them to order food, explore food items and check for the price. The website is designed to convey message to multiple users. It will be accessible by all the users over any type of browser. This website will have attractive design and can be used to show the efforts. While desiging this website there were different aspects which were considered.
The major purpose is to improve the performance of the restaurant with the help of this website. Additional benefit of having this website is that it will be useful in rush hours as it can be balanced effectively and the restaurant will be able to get more profit. With this website the tasks can be done more efficiently and in less time. The website will help in reduction of the labor which can result in other expenses of the restaurant. These benefits can actually help in generating more revenues for the resturant.
Prototype Design
The website prototype can be defined as demo or the mock-up of what the website will look like where once it is developed. The prototype can be a paper scratch or the clickable HTML prototype. When people are discussing about the prototype then it is generally referred as the interactive prototypes which will allow the users to navigate from one page to another and use all the functionality like the drop-down menus. There are different manners which can be used to create the interactive prototype. We can create clickable prototypes with the help of PowerPoint, Ms word or the PDF document.
There are different specialist prototyping tools which are available on the Internet, and they are specifically designed to create easy prototypes. The website prototype is important because it will allow the project stakeholders to see what the final product will look like during its life cycle. It has many more reasons to do this. It allows us to get the agreement on what is in and out of the scope test the theories and ideas for the structure and layout of the website connect to the user feedback with the help of usability testing and generate support for the investment for the whole project.
