to, has a chance to build a better life their own is central to the American dream. People in the United States tend to think that you need to make some personal sacrifices, take some calculated risks, and try incredibly hard to achieve the American dream. Stratification, as my loved ones and I understand it, is the way of dividing a society's population into distinct classes based on demographic characteristics such as income, wealth, race, ethnicity, education, gender, and class.
Ans 2. According to the Davis-Moore thesis, if individuals were paid more money for the most difficult jobs in society, then a greater number of people would volunteer for those jobs. As a consequence of this, professionals working in high-demand industries such as medical, engineering, education, and so on would command greater compensation, which would further widen the income gap between different socioeconomic strata. The method of social stratification takes into account a wide variety of criteria, including but not limited to race, religion, ethnicity, level of socioeconomic status, and others. This would imply that a person's social position would determine the resources they have access to as well as the choices they have open to them regarding their way of life. People who have jobs that don't pay very well might not be able to afford the fundamental essentials like food, clothes, and a roof over their heads because of how much they cost. In this fictional scenario, the only people who would truly be capable of enjoying life to its maximum extent are those who had well-paying jobs.
