The online portal shall not require staff as required in a retail store. It will require an administrator responsible for the website, to keep track of the customers who signed in, customers with items selected in their shopping cart, to manage the repository for update on product accessibility and availability. It will require shipping and delivery persons to deliver the products to the customer. Th website shall offer significant experience and convenience to customer of purchasing items online without having to travel to a store.
Feasibility
Technical Feasibility
An internet connection and a device is required to access the website of WizBiz. The information about the products offered by the business as well about the customers is accessible through the website. Website has a domain name. The admin and domain name require financial support. The two requirements are addressed by introducing an interface offering computer components and add-ons online. The interface is used by the customer for enrolling or registering and filling personal information including contact information required by the organization. This information is recorded in the database through the interface and is visible to the administrator. In case, the customer visits the store again, they can log in without needing to register and provide their details again. The customer may choose among the products offered through the website to order and save them in his personal shopping cart. It is at customer’s discretion whether to buy the chosen products or update the list of products added to the cart. Finally, customer can proceed to buy the chosen products by clicking ‘buy’. The website takes the customer to display payment options which the customer feels convenient to use. The transaction further proceeds to payment as well as shipping and delivery processes. The payment gateway helps the customer to make online payment through a secure channel. The list of items purchased is automatically available to the shipping and delivery department through the portal. The customer can track the shipping of order through the website. Any communication can be materialized between the WizBiz team and customer through contact information of customer recorded in the database.
Financial Feasibility
The proposed system is affordable and requires much less cost as compared to a brick and mortar retail store since no material is required. It requires a device with an internet connection. WizBiz will own a website which will be accessible to everyone through the internet where all the products with their details shall be published for the viewers and purchases can be accomplished. The cost of acquiring a domain name, a database for storing information, the information security infrastructure and a device cost incurred by customer to access the shopping application online shall be very affordable for the WizBiz rather than building retail stores at different locations in Australia. The fixed costs include website manufacturing and website maintenance.
Operational Feasibility
The proposed system has a significant operational feasibility for WizBiz. The management is in full support of the system. Since it is a startup, the employees may require little or no training in operating the website owing to its simplicity and ease of use. They are involved in planning and development of the project. This early involvement of the team shall reduce the probability of resistance towards the new system. The system offers convenience to the customers and ensures the security of personal information recorded in the database. The customers satisfaction shall be given utmost importance. The proposed system shall benefit the organization with increased overall response, accessibility of information will not be lost.

The website shall be database driven. The storage and retrieval of customers, products, payments and deliveries can be efficiently incorporated into Relational Database Management system. Database server among MySQL, MS Access or MS SQL can be chosen for this purpose. Online Payments can be accomplished through different options like manually through credit cards, a third party service like PayPal or using an online bank to accept payment which is safest and quick.
Resources
Hardware resources required for the portal include host with processor, and database server, web server, email server and a secure network connection to establish secure communication with customers and maintain records. A device with internet connection is required on the client’s side. Telecommunication infrastructure is required with bandwidth and security. Hundreds of unique customers shall be served every day. A Pentium II server running Linux is required. Back up servers would be required with increase in traffic to the shopping portal. Software resources like Linux OS, mySQL database, Apache web server are required for establishing successful system online. Human resources include technical administrator with substantial knowledge of computer hardware and software is required who can manage upgrades and maintenance of hardware. Legal infrastructure that supports online payment mechanism is required. MySQL database server requires no license fee, it can handle thousands of records and is an ideal choice to create a prototype of website and can be easily upgraded when required. The server shall address the functional requirements.
Agile Methodology
Agile methodology is used for the project in order to incorporate flexibility and provide rapid improvement software solution in a consistent manner. It will further ensure early delivery through streamlined web development avoiding time-consuming tasks. The team meets in person daily as part of stand-up. Once the members agree on the goals to achieve, going forward, the team saves a lot of time in getting everyone understand the daily targets. The software will be able to guide the team towards making sure all of the necessary functions have been implemented and thoroughly tested.

This system will maintain single source of truth for development team. It will accelerate website release velocity and facilitate collaboration.
