There are four core areas for the tools: · Communication – Demonstrated in the project document, · CASE Tools – Tools to help with the project analysis · Financial – Tools for Cost benefit analysis and ROI · Internet Resources – Used to locate the information and tools The goal is to utilize these tools in the development of a small proposal to solve a problem that you are interested in solving by using the tools from the toolkit and the knowledge form the chapters. We have been discussing multiple ideas throughout the weeks on potential problems that could be solved with the development of a system. You have also been reading case studies using the knowledge and tools. 2. Choose a problem you believe Information Systems can be utilized to solve. 3. Include a ROI estimate in your proposal that hopefully offsets these costs 7. Using the internet, find at least two alternate solutions other than your development. Write a paragraph on each alternative summarizing each           Include: · one off-the-self solution and  · one out-sourced development solution 8. Add the costs for both these solutions to your cost-benefit analysis data for direct comparison. The purpose is to provide management with alternatives and to show you have done adequate research into solving your problem. 9. Be sure to include all references utilized in the development. **** There is no page limit or minimum but it is expected that you demonstrate your mastery of the subject material and the tools. *** The project will be summarized in the final presentation to provide the sales pitch below in the PowerPoint presentation. PART B – PowerPoint Presentation Purpose:   The purpose of this assignment is to review some of the topics we have covered in class and provide your insight in this topic to the rest of the class via presentation. The project you completed should have supplied a lot of details on solving your problem with CASE tools. It should have also provided cost-benefit analysis and ROI for the project and alternatives to your solution. The purpose of this presentation is to sell you proposal to the audience with the summary of the facts you have from the project. Instructions “Presentation” Format Answer the following as complete as possible. Most questions have multiple responses required so read the questions carefully and answer completely. Answer the following questions in your written assignment: 1. Create a presentation of a 5-10 minute summary of your project from week 7 (PART A above). The purpose is to sell your project to your fellow students and instructor.           Note: Be sure to include all the answers to the questions from the project, pros-cons, cost-benefit, ROI, etc. 2. Organize the information into a 5-10 minute presentation including PowerPoint with audio narration. – Note: Neha, Please create the powerpoint presentation, and include that narration slides or write out what you would say if you were narrating it. If it is easier, you can narrate with voice, I will listen, and record over it so it is my voice. Whatever is easier for you! Thank you! References Silberschatz, A., Peter, B. G., & Greg, G. (n.d.).
