Course Project Students will complete a two-week long course project. As part of the project, you will be required to perform a data analysis and write a draft manuscript with Methods, Results, and Discussion. You are also required to upload a 15-minute virtual presentation via GoReact. Your project will be completed in stages, with two deliverables in Weeks 4 & 8, respectively. Your course project will use the customer survey data provided under the Course Project category. Deliverable 1 1. Using IBM SPSS to load the survey data. 2. Familiarize yourself with the survey data. You may want to begin by generating summary statistics (e.g., means, standard deviation, minimums, and maximums) for selected numeric variables and frequency tables (e.g., counts and percentages) for important categorical variables. 3. Create a table that compares the demographic characteristics of male, female, and other respondents regarding: a. Age b. Education attainment c. Number of times per week using mobile apps for shopping or information search d. Number of hours per week using mobile apps for shopping or information search e. Number of mobile purchases in the past 12 months f. Mobile shopping experience/years g. Most frequently purchased items The table shown on the second page is an example using a different dataset. Your final table should look similarly with comparison among the groups (i.e., the male, female, and other). Your table won’t be generated by just one click. You will need to manually create your table using Excel after completing all your SPSS analyses. 4. Write a two-paragraph summary of the results obtained in Part 3, suitable for inclusion in the results section of a manuscript. Your summary should highlight those results (comparison) that you find most interesting.
