***Here you are required to critique the news article by analyzing the evidence given by the author. You should point out theflaws in the news article and support where it needs to be.You are free to pinpoint the negative as well as positive parts of the story in the news article. To make a thorough analysis, however, you need to examine all elements of the news article: the structure; the methods;the reasons and evidence; the conclusion; and the logical connection between all of these elements. Questions you need to ask under “structure” are: what type of text is it? (e.g. is it a primary source or secondary source?); is it based on original research or a comment on original research?; what are the different sections and how do they fit together?; and are any of the sections particularly effective? Questions you need to ask under “methods” are: is the research quantitative or qualitative?; does the methodology have any weaknesses?; and how does the design of the study address the hypothesis? Questions to be asked under “reasons/evidence”: what sources does the author use (interview, government reports, journal entries, newspaper accounts, etc.)?;what type of reasoning are employed (inductive, deductive, etc.)?; what type of evidence is provided (empirical, statistical, logical, etc.)?, are there any gaps in the evidence? Note that some of these questions may not apply to your chosen news article, and in that case you don't need to worry too much about it.

The chosen news article presented by Halls, (2020) reflects on the current situation of Australian property market and impact
of Chinese buyers on this industry. In order to proceed with the articles, author used a mixed approach that is this was a combination of qualitative and quantitative research type. This is majorly because the quantitave data related to Chinese interest in Australian real estate was gathered from other published sources. Likewise, author also conducted certain interviews with real estate agents sales executive and chief executive of Starr partners in order to have a better insight of past and current situation. Further, the interviews conducted were significant enough to provide a future analysis or market forecast, which author provided at the end of this article. Therefore, this research reflects a primary source that is original research because interviews were conducted to provide a better analysis on the collected data. The article was majorly divided into 3 sections, where first section reflected the data collected by author, second and third reflected the respective interviews of individuals and last section presented a market forecast. Further, the choice of primary approach should be appreciated because it was the best possible research structure for author’s hypothesis.

Further, this quantitative data was then analyzed and quantitative data in form of views and perspectives of the candidates were presented. However, there was no specific hypothesis or thesis statement...
