to answer in your paper. It is too difficult to do a good overview of any concept in a three page paper.
How to approach the terms:
If the term you are working with for example, a particular city, learn why this particular city is important and we are still studying it in an Urban Sociology class two or three or four thousand years later. What did the way of life, for example, of the people in that city, contribute to later urban developments? What do we learn about the pre-requisites of an urban center?
