For the purpose of this module's project, we're going to pretend that you have a passion for car audio systems. You love it so much, in fact, that you're thinking about opening your own store.
To start getting your head around the opportunity, you're going to do an abbreviated marketing analysis. You've looked at all the providers of home stereo and home theater equipment and determined that there are a few different type of stores for customers, but for this you're going to focus on just 3:
Amazon: Mass online retailer of lots of stuff. In some cases, provided by Amazon, sometimes 3rd party.
Crutchfield: An online retailer that sells only electronics, with solid customer service and lots of information and support.
Best Buy: Mass electronics store, limited selection, fair pricing and limited support.
Your task:
1) Using the 4 p+1s of marketing, compare Amazon, Best Buy and Crutchfield specifically as it pertains tocar electronics.
Hints-
Product -Use marketing utilities. You might also think about features and benefits, pros/cons.
Place - How is place important? This could depend on the customer type or how the product is used.
Price - You can't list prices, try to categorize each into "high, medium or low?" Is price the same as "value"?
Promotion - How does the company promote it's goods or services?
+
Segment - What customer segment(s) does each serve? Don't confuse this with HOW the market might be segmented. What segments does a particular vendor serve?
2) Based on your observations from part 1 above, if you were to open your own car audio/electronics store, what have you learned (~400 words). Paragraphs are OK. This would not be OK for an in person presentation, but that's OK. You will not be narrating this presentation - just turning in your slides.

Complete this assignment using Powerpoint or google slides but be sure to upload your submission in a pdf document. A table seems like a good idea to include in part 1, an essay for part 2, perhaps?
**I would encourage you to complete part 1 in 1-2 slides and one slide for part 2.
