It’s about owning the look, owning the experience and owning the night!” Every year on an average there are around twenty social and cultural events that take place in various universities and college. Which was started as a simple get together events has now evolved into much more sophisticated ones. Everyone wants to look different, desires to have an outfit which reflects one’s personality that make them stand out from the crowd. After all, looks and appearance fall under broader category of nonverbal communication. What one wears at a gathering is not only crucial to improve the social prospects, but also defines how one wants people to see them. But the one that matters most during these special events are the clothes, where almost all of the event’s photos are on the social media with a blink of an eye and what’s more? You simply don’t want to repeat the dress for another event. Even worse, I’m sure you must have figured it out, how much can you spend on the dresses you just wear once a year? Furthermore, in places like Ohio and Texas where there is a scarcity of proper outlets which keeps style that suits you, fashionable, trendy and up-to date merchandise. Often, it is observed that students desire to wear designer and fashionable outfits, but feels it would be too expensive and would be out of their range, hence, they compromise with their look. Not only this, paucity of proper transport and time poverty compels students to either repeat their dress or undergo the inconvenience and expense to a nearest store to buy a dress which might wear it for this occasion. Looking at all these points, I have conceptualized and put together an idea, why should we just stop with renting flats, cars, and why not try the concept of renting clothes? Yes, renting is the new cool! So we decided to come up with this idea of online fashion rental service, which would be an extension of one's wardrobe. Share-Robe is a fashion rental company to cater to these young adults who want to wear a different designer outfit in every college event but don’t want to spend much in that outfit. Our service designed to meet these unmet needs and meet the latent demands of college goers. Share-Robe is powered by a transformative business model, coupled with IT and a unique reverse-logistics operation. We aim to make fashion more accessible and available by giving people access to high quality clothes and accessories we’re changing the meaning of ownership — and revolutionizing retail in the process.
