TASK 1 - Theory
1. In Queensland who is covered by the Fair Work system?
Answer: All the employees employed in the private sector are covered by the Fair Work system.
2. What are the National Employment Standards (NES)?
Answer: The National Employment Standards (NES) is the standard that is defined by the labour laws in the country. According to NES the maximum weekly hour of work is 38 hours per week, plus additional reasonable hours. So, overall National Employment standards are a set of 11 minimum which must be provided to all the employees part of the workforce in Australia.
