For this assignment, you are responsible for writing a five (5) paragraph argumentative research essay. The length should be approximately 1000 – 1250 words. You will use APA citation for this essay. This means you must have both in-text citations and a full references page. You must have four credible sources, including at least one book or journal article.

Your essay should be double spaced.

The expectation is that your topic will have academic merit and that your research will be conducted primarily through academic sources. This gives you the opportunity to write about something you are passionate about. However, this is not simply a topic paper. You must argue something in your paper. You are making a point. This point is your thesis. In addition, this thesis must be clearly and convincingly supported by research you have conducted. You will likely begin with a general topic and then start to ask questions about this topic. The answers to your questions will lead you to a viable thesis statement.

1. Has college tuition fees become expensive?
Education is a business in the present days and no business runs for free. Every business needs to earn profit. The cost of the colleges is too high as parents needs to save the money for college from the day him or her born. No doubt, every human has a right of education but for quality education, we needs to spent extra penny. Tuition fees of the college’s increases faster than inflation because schools continue to add services and new jobs and to add services and new jobs they need to add more people and spend more money.
Palmer, Abrahams, Pace and De Rango (2018) have described that many Americans would rather get a worthless unemployable college degree than acquire a real skill in a trade that can help them actually be productive. Education has become a medium to bluff people with an assurance of getting a highly qualified white-collar job.
