I want to share some additional information about the unit 3 assignments

To edit the chart (see attachment), I just open the chart and click in the column and begin typing. However, you can also "copy and paste" information into the cells.

1. For the assignment, use your unit 1 topic.

2. Within this topic, think of a research question (anything relating to a problem/outcome within this topic).

Conduct a search on the topic, research question, or any other remotely relative aspect pertaining to these key words.

Find 100 articles relating to the topic/question (or anything in general that closely relates).

Populate the chart with this information. Keep it simple. I do not want a lot of information. You do not need to provide all the information in the abstract. Just some key information. You can be more specific later in the course. The real focus is on finding 100 articles.

Save your chart and submit it to the grade book

I hope this helps.

In unit3,you created a search of100 scholarlyarticles relating to the topic from unit1.*

Topic :

Topic (effective):

Url:https://www.crimesolutions.gov/TopicDetails.aspx?ID=4

Students will use google scholar to collect 100 articles as Part 1 of the Literature Review Build

The literature review build will be the first step in creating your comprehensive literature review. Using Scholar.Google.com, you will collect 100 journal articles using systematic random sampling. Those 100 abstracts will be incorporated into the following chart (attachment). In order to do so, you will enter your topic in google scholar, and find an article with a hit count (the number under the article in blue) of 100 and over. That article will become the first article and will enter it in APA format into the chart. Then click on the hit count. Using the randomizer starting at the first article and select every x articles. If the selection you come to is a book or not a scholarly journal article, it will skip and the next x article will be included. The search steps will be repeated until 100 journal articles populate the chart.

Introduction
A behavioral therapy for substance use disorders like alcohol, drugs etc. which benefits the adults, young age generation, and various families in improving the habit and reinforcing their internal forces to reduce or end the use of substance is termed as the A-CRA (Adolescent community reinforcement approach). A-CRA is an improved variant on
CRA model which was known for improvement and development. A-CRA was basically come into existence so that it can be useful for adolescent, and an add-on sessions or conversations can be done with the parents and guardians. A-CRA's goal is to improve or enhance access for adolescents to achieve and sustain recovery to social, family, and educational / vocational motivator. Therapists help teenagers learn how to live a healthy and enjoyable life without alcohol or other drugs. This study is basically to evaluate the effectiveness of A-CRA in comparison with the usual continuing care of these teenagers. This study will thus help in understanding the benefits of A-CRA against the basic practices of caring the teenagers with the habits of substance use.
Literature Review
Meyers, Roozen & Smith (2011) expressed that CRA was originated for the people who have alcohol use disorders, is been successful in treating a miscellany of substance use disorders for a long time. CRA was mainly to help people in living again their life in healthy way, without drugs or alcohols. The therapists use to motivate the clients in involving progressively in various social activities which were pleasantly related to non-substance, and also to improve their enjoyment or enthusiasm within their family or community. In recent years specialists have logical verifications for two variations of CRA which depend on comparable working instrument. Out of them one is A-CRA which focuses on the adolescents with alcoholic disorders and also their parents or guardians.
Godley, Hunter, Fernández-Artamendi, Smith, & Meyers (2014) stated about the relationship between the clients treatment, improvement, retention, emotional problems and their outcomes, substance use with the A-CRA. Members had just or co-happening substance use and mental issues with substance use dissorder (SUD).The main causes of intake of substances were the emotional problems rather than just substance use disorder (SUD). All the groups used for study were given A-CRA treatment. At the end of the year of treatment, adolescents who were termed as externalizers and those people who were having externalizing and internalizing issues had a great improvement in substance problems rather than people who were just having the problem because of substance use disorder. In addition to those teenagers who were having symptoms of internalizing, externalizing or both have a better improvement in their emotional issues comparing to them who have SUD only.
Hunter, Godley, & Godley (2014) communicated that about 10% of youths needing treatment for a substance use (SU) issue get treatment at the national dimension. By encouraging access to administrations, school-based treatment can give a significant chance to diminish the treatment gap. While there may be some classroom-based SU therapy, very little has been recognized about whether new, scientific proof-based A-CRA treatments in schools can be well implemented. Results showed that A-CRA was much more likely to reach girls and young people with shorter SU stories in school-based settings. A-CRA was very well incorporated in educational settings and the classroom-based group had the same or better results as the facility-based group.
Lammers, Goossens, Conrod, Engels, Wiers, & Kleinjan (2015) through his investigation endeavored to discover the adequacy of Preventure by testing on drinking conduct of young people in optional training in the Netherlands. It analyzed the impacts of the intercession on past month's essential result of hard-core boozing, and the auxiliary results of hitting the bottle hard recurrence, liquor use, liquor recurrence, and issue drinking. Preventure, the liquor counteractive action program, seems to have practically no impact on the general pervasiveness of hitting the bottle hard in teenagers in the Netherlands, yet may lessen hard-core boozing after some time.
Smith, Godley, Godley, & Dennis (2011) focused on the fact that Emerging adults are one fifth of all admissions to public treatment, and few studies have considered whether treatments are suitable for development. This research matches up results among teenagers and incipient adults with substance use disorders receiving A-CRA. Evolving adults and teenagers both reduced the use of substance at their follow-up. However, evolving adults became less likely to be addicted to alcohol...
