Introduction
Covid-19 pandemic has reshaped the lives of millions of people all over the globe. Nobody could have ever imagined how adversely this disease will hit the lives of common man. The thesis statement of this essay states that wearing mask will control the spread of virus and getting vaccinated will provide herd immunity to the population.
Significance of Wearing Mask to Prevent Covid
Wearing masks is a non-pharmaceutical intervention (NPI) and is a very cost-effective measure in the absence of an effective therapeutic drug or vaccine. Now that every country is battling with this deadly virus, as highlighted by Li, Liu, Li, Qian and Dai (2020), several clinical trials have been conducted, which confirms that wearing a mask will help prevent spread of the virus.
