Project Overview and context For this assessment you are required to perform the role of project manager on an actual project. You will play a role of project owner; this means you will sign off the project stages produce. Scenario You are a Senior Project Manager of Websitehub Pty Ltd, which offers a range of services a wide range of business analysis and consulting services to businesses of all sizes. You have been assigned a new client, Mark Evans, who is the CEO of NAIT Australia, based in VIC. NAIT was established in 2015 to enhancing the role of education as people navigate their way through life, become productive members of their communities, and fulfil their life goals. They are specialized in providing IT and Management Trainings to various companies which boosts their technical standards and also collaborating with industry to provide quality solutions. Their focus always been the industry-based learning which helps our students to make them competent according to the current industry demand. They have already placed lots of students with various IT companies in Australia. Their aim is to provide quality and affordable training in leading edge technologies, mainly concentrating on bridging the gap between school education and tertiary education offered by the Universities and competencies that the industries always look for. The company currently employs the following staff in its head office: CEO, Training Manager, Accounts Manager, Marketing Manager, Student Support Officer, Administration Officer, Trainers and administration staff. The company’s overall objectives to develop best-practice initiatives and models to serve the needs of young people, providing them with endless opportunities to fulfill their potential for economic and social participation. The company plans to hire another staff member in administration, and part of the project would include training the administration staff. Websitehub Pty Ltd has been contracted to provide consultancy on Global Student NAIT project, and you will be managing the project. Although you will be working mostly with Websitehub Pty Ltd on the project, NAIT has requested that the project be conducted as set out in their Project Management document. You are also required to produce the relevant documentation to initiate a project. Using the scenario as a guide which will be present in NAIT Project Initiation Document, you will determine the project definition and develop a Project Charter, including preliminary statement of project scope, and obtain sign-off. Instructions You will need to access the following: · NAIT Project Initiation Document · Project charter template · Project management plan template See the ‘Resources required’ section for how to access these documents. This Project has been split into three separate tasks. Please complete each task in the order they appear. Read all the information you have been given. Task One Develop a Project Charter using the template for the purpose of securing project authorisation for your project. This will include: · Background: the reasons that the project has been initiated · Project objectives: including the business problem or opportunity · Project scope · Details of the different components of the project · Feasibility study of project, with business case if necessary · Information gathering you will need to gather information on the project’s requirements, constraints and risks. Outline a plan showing how you intend to gather this information. · Project partitioning: consider how the project tasks should best be organised. · Budget · Project management Your charter should be approximately two pages long. Task Two Arrange a time with your assessor to present your project charter to them during class time. You will need to explain and discuss the following points · Success criteria · Budget · Requirements · Constraints · Risks You will seek their approval and agree on any changes required. You must ensure you communicate with your assessor in an appropriate business manner, as if you were addressing a senior manager at NAIT. Your meeting is expected to take approximately 15 minutes. Your assessor will complete Observation Checklist I at the end of your presentation. Please ensure you review the Observation Checklist before you commence your presentation so that you are fully prepared and know exactly what is expected of you. Please submit the completed Observation checklist as evidence of this task. Task Three Based on the project charter that you have developed and any feedback from the Manager, develop a project management plan using the template The Project Management Plan should include the following: · A Brief Introduction: The introduction must summarise the intent of the plan. · Project Requirements · Project deliverables · Measurable outcomes: How the success of the project will be determined.   · Project constraints  · Project scope: This is to be taken from the project charter.  · Risk assessment: Describe at least two prospective risks. You will also have to outline a disaster recovery plan for the project.  · Project Team members and allocate their roles and responsibilities. · Timelines: Should include a simple Gantt Chart.  · A Work Breakdown Structure  · Performance monitoring: How often, and in what ways, the team’s performance will be monitored.  The final documents you submit for assessment will be assessed using the project criteria provided. All project criteria outlined must be covered satisfactorily for Part B to be completed satisfactorily. You must complete the project unassisted by the assessor or other personnel but may refer to reference material as needed. The project will include processes to manage trainings that will feature
· In-Person Training- Training offered on premises or at student’s preferred location by a certified instructor.
· Online Training session: Online sessions would be designed to focus on results of every participant. Personalized experiences and virtual activities would be part of online training events.
· NAIT Subscription: Online programs offered by NAIT would be available for subscription in order to offer the customers to enhance their competitive advantage. The subscribers can take the training according to their convenience.

· Business Analyst- He will be responsible for analysing the business profitability in enhancing the business strategy followed by NAIT, documenting the business processes and assessing the project model.
· Project Leader- He would be responsible to engage the team while taking care of their requirements while maintaining productive environment along with steering the project towards specific milestones.
Project partitioning
The project partitioning includes four components for the project.
