In groups of 3 please complete the following:

- Write a paper no longer than 6 pages double spaced.

- Find 3 real life Canadian examples within the last 10 years that have been documented in the news (newspaper, magazine, or video news) of breaches of the code of conduct.1 needs to be an example from Corrections,1 from Securityand1 from Law Enforcement. Your examples should clearly illustrate an incident where somebody acted outside of the relevant code of conduct

• In one paragraph for each example (no more than 5 sentences) summarize the incident that explains what occurred;


• After reading all three documents in the Course Content section relating to Codes of Conduct using one paragraph for each example cite the relevant breach(es) of that professions code of conduct. Clearly identify the specific breach(es) of the relevant code of conduct (include section #’s where possible);


• Using all 5 of the Critical Thinking Steps (refer to week 2 notes), explain how a better decision could have been made in each situation.


• Cite your sources (newspaper, website, magazine, news video) with the appropriate format, using MLA or APA. Research rarely includes only one source as it gives us very limited perspective.
