When running an election campaign, it is important to promote voter participation. This means you need to convince citizens to go to the polls and vote for your party. If you had the time and resources, how could you increase voter turnout? Together, create an action plan to encourage voters of all ages to vote for your party.

Task 1.
Each team member should writetwo (2)

specific proposalson how to attract voters. Proposals could include ways to contact the public, how to educate youth about politics, how to make voting easier,how to gain voters' trust, how to promote your platforms, etc. Use your imagination!Provide details for your proposals.Do not repeat
what other team members have proposed. This means all team members must carefully read all the posts to avoid repetition. Use some vocabulary from the assignment, “TPA 2: Election Vocabulary Homework”.
Example of
one (1) specific proposal(do not copy): In order to attractvoters, we could build great party web site. It could include our candidate profiles and a clear description of our political promises. Citizens could type their comments and ask questions. This would allow us to interact with them and get to know their expectations. I think if we did this, it would motivate voters to vote for us.
Task 2.
Read your teammates' proposals and comment on some of them. What do you think? Add more ideas to their proposals.
Example of a comment (do not copy): I like your web site proposal. I think the web site could also include nice graphics and pictures to make it attractive.
Task 3.
Together, negotiate and choose the three best proposals from all the proposals that the team has made.Be ready to report back in class next week!
