You are hired to determine the effect of online teaching of statistics course on students’ statistics content knowledge. Before the course, students were given 12 multiple choice questions measuring their content knowledge. They were also given the same test after the course. The highest a student can get is 12 points.

Based on the dependent t test results (i.e. SPSS output) presented below:

  • What is your understanding of the results?

  • What conclusions would you make?

In your response, please present whether there is a significant difference between pre–test and post–test, and discuss what the results mean.

Please respond to the initial posts of your peers: comparing and contrasting their findings and conclusions with yours.

You are hired to determine the effect of online teaching of stat
istics course on students’ statistics content knowledge. Before the course, students were given 12 multiple choice questions measuring their content knowledge. They were also given the same test after the course. The highest a student can get is 12 points.
Based on the dependent t test results (i.e. SPSS output) presented below:

· What is your understanding of the results?
The results show that p value for comparison of means of the test is 0.022. Hence we reject the null hypothesis that there is no difference between the scores before and after the course.
·  What conclusions would you make?
The test was conducted to check whether the mean difference of scores before and after course was negligible or 0.
