Target Organization
Walmart is American multinational retail corporation that operates a chain of hypermarkets. Have requirement of web servers and dhcp for browsers, WIFI server’s connectives, switches and routers for internal networking, security devices such as firewall for secure transactions.
Requirement – We have floor shop contains
1. Sales marketing – Need PCs, Laptops
2. Tanning and VC room – Wifi Access points, IP phones, Printers, web servers
3. Technical support room – Web servers
4. Records and accounting department - PCs
5. Reception center – IP Phone
6. Main block work place – PCs, Screens
7. Server room – Switches servers, routers
8. Raw material and storage room – PCs
9. Syslog, Mail servers, Firewalls
Proposed Network Solution
We have three switches connected with one router required three different Network Ips as below
· Choose 2600:3200:1000:1000: :/64
· Choose 2600:3200:1000:2000: :/64
· Choose 2600:3200:1000:3000: :/64
Topic coverages – DNS – Domain Name Server – Domain name server translate names into IP address. User type domain name eg.www.walmart.com, name goes to DNS server first then translate into IP of www.walmart.com and display as webpage.
· DHCP (Dynamic Host Control Protocol) - network management protocol Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol used to allocate IP automatically to devices on networks, so that they can use network services such as DNS, NTP.
· Network protocols – TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPs, SFTP, and SSL
· WINS (Window Internet Name Service) - Window Internet Name Service is implementation of netBIOS Name Service OF Microsoft.
· IP Routing - IP Routing for the set of protocols that determine the path that data follows, travel across multiple networks same or different, source to destination. eg. Border Getaway Protocol, Open Shortest Path First.
· Networking Overview – Networking nothing but connections of computer, more than two devices physically, logically.
· Network Topologies – Star, Mesh, Bus, Hybrid
· RAS (Window Remote Access Serves)- RAS is used in smaller network where a dedicated dail-up router is not practical or possible.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Maintenance
· hardware as well as software
· Create Task list to do on daily basis
· Create maintain Diagram and manuals on daily basis
· Maintenance Check list for IT staff members
· Safety, Clean, Insect, Replace faulty hardware
Troubleshooting
· Identify issue, Plan the solution, test solution and repeat until problem resolved
· Preventive maintenance
PM is regular checkup of equipment, cabling, connectivity, temperature of devices to ensure devices are working fine, time based preventive maintenance, unaged based preventive maintenance are types.
· Conditional maintenance it is a actual condition of assets to decide what maintenance to be done
· Based maintenance
Remote Access
· Remote access can possible with the help of several ways to set up remote access
· LAN (Local Area Network) -
· WAN (Wide area network) - WLAN
· VPN (Virtual Privet Network) – VPN tunneling, IPsec
· Sharing of local computers -
· Connect over internet
· RAS (Remote Access Services) - establishes connection with a dial-up server and host
