Hi, Marcus.

Thanks for sharing discussing the role of learning theory to support the usefulness of design and appropriate media/technology application. Specific application to your proposed population is critical for you to move from the theoretical to your practical elearning project. Who are your learners? Describe the characteristics of this population - are they new to the field or are they experts, are there tools that they use for their current job that are familiar and can be used to deliver the training, or are there other expectations of their job that provide implications for their learning? What do you know of your learner's characteristics that may inform how you use design and media/technologyto achieve the desired objectives?

H Jodie,
I completely agree with you because I too believe that the proposed population is active and brimming with energy to learn new skills, which are relatable to the instructional design and the practical frameworks suggested by the proposal itself. It is the young students who aspire to be great professionals in life and, therefore; the application of the theories of the instructional design is quite applicable on them as well. For example, as mentioned in the proposal itself, staged learning and rehearsal is of no good assistance in enhancing the learning outcomes.
However, as argued by Wong et al. (2019), detailed rehearsals give them opportunities to grow with the options that they have. Thus, the selection of a young population that does not have a diverse range of opinion is much better than any other age groups for achieving the desired purposes of the learning proposal. As per the attributes of the population, it can be inferred here that the students are actively involved in various instructional design tasks though they are not aware of it. Their...
