Thank you for providing a resource-rich response breaking down the nine steps of the Kemp model (Instructional Designers of Penn State, n.d.). Do you have a specific training at Bendaygo that can be used to compare to the Kemp model? I wonder if this could be a possible idea for your summative project - to evaluate and recommend improvements to an existing training exercise.
