Q 1) A consequentialist generally defends the act of stealing in a scenario where he is
more worried about the outcome of the act than the action itself. In this scenario a consequentialist is more worried and concerned about the greater good of the purpose. It can actually be drawn from the meaning of a consequentialist ethical theory which says that moral judgement is based on the outcome of an action. For example, stealing is always an unethical act but if we steal something which was actually stolen from us we may be defended under the theory of consequentialism.
