Social media is reinventing the way we are communicating and interacting with people in the world. This tool has been becoming popular even in the business environment where it is being used as a communication tool within and outside the work
place. This tool has its potential risks and perceived benefits which contains huge potential for future development. All these components have been discussed in this paper through the literature review of ten articles on the subject. The paper includes annotated bibliography of ten peer reviewed papers that would help us in understanding the concept in a better way.
