The first step of the figure is an important part of the success of the company in online sales. For case, the company can use this as a marketing strategy to enhance its
profit, revenue and growth in an effective and proper manner. Along with this, it should also be noted down that, Customer segmentation, market selection, and value position are the three processes that are involved in the process. Choosing the proper value of products is important for the well-built infrastructure of the company to work well. The division of customers into varied groups helps the company in reaching the customers in a more targeted way which fulfills their needs. For case, via segmentation the company can easily targets number of customers and sell its products to customer based on their needs, wants and expectations. (Ballestar et al., 2018). Selecting a proper market for the sale of products is also necessary for the proper run of success by the company. With the help of this, the company can also enhance its sales growth directly. Positioning the value of the products is also an important matter for ensuring the success of companies in the sector of online sales. With the help of positioning, the company can develop a strong brand value and image in the minds of customers. Hence, customer can be easily target with the help of positioning. Thus choosing the value is an essential part of attaining the proper success rate for the companies. In addition to this, the company can also improve customer base and brand reputation in the market successfully.
The main concept which has been identified is e-commerce. The sales of the car got a boost after the elimination of traditional dealerships. Traditional dealership methods made the customer underprepared and the process conduct was indirect which means there was no transparency in the whole method. In contrast with traditional dealerships where there were lots of paperwork, hugging, and less transparency, online sales have been identified as the most appropriate way for car sales. Through an online method, the audience gets a better opportunity to gain knowledge about the product of their choice (Schröder et al., 2019). Direct contact leads to better communication which is necessary for the customers and the company as well.
Car buyers are seen to ditch the dealerships because of many reasons. Three of the main reasons are the hike in the price of the products, the marginal cut issued by the dealers, and the chance of getting wrong information circulated by the dealers for the sale of their products. Instead, purchasing through online sites will be more convenient for the customers as there is no risk of getting the wrong information and being tricked over by the wrong pricing. Thus, customers are nowadays choosing the online method more than the offline dealers to avoid paying a price above the margin.
Brick-and-mortar dealerships can learn a major thing from the growing disorder being issued against the companies (Towne, 2020). Tricking customers with comparatively more prices than the actual price of the product is a matter of crime and they should understand the fact which would also result in the growth of a business.
