The Importance of Consumer Behavior Research
I found after a thorough observation of my course that the research of consumer behavior is playing a significant role to understand the present trend of the market. However, consumer behavior research is an important element for the marketing management of any organization or business as it helps them to understand the current demand and trends of market (Nuttavuthisit & Thogersen, 2017). I found that it plays an important role in management and pricing strategy of a business as well. Consumer behavior research is an essential part of marketing as it provides the entire element that strategic management can be build up to enhance the success of a business.
Different Aspects Relevant to Consumer Behavior
After a learning assessment of my course, I found that there are several aspects such as psychology and communication is existing to understand and demonstrate specific consumer behavior. It has been found that the purchasing behavior of customers is often dependent on psychological factors such as motivation, belief system and perception customers. However, it is relevant to strategic management as these factors influence customers to approach their purchasing behavior (Sailer, Hense, Mayr & Mandl, 2017).
