The one used in the Faculty of Business is Harvard. Getting referencing right is a matter of paying attention to detail – the order of information required, where to put commas and full stops, which bits of information to include. It is important to learn this now, in your first year, as there are many more important things to focus on in later years. This Module will help you will learn the rules of the Deakin Harvard Referencing style. To access the CRM, go to the Resources>Assessments & Resources folder in the MMM132 Cloud site. PART 2 (A1.2) Pre-Report Preparation Tasks - Due 8pm Thursday 13/08 Purpose: Learning about referencing conventions is just one part of scholarly activity. You also need to learn how to find appropriate information (and what counts as appropriate information), how to use information from the sources you identified to build your reasoning and support your claims, the requirements of a report, and how to present your knowledge of management theories and concepts in a formal, structured way. This task helps you develop important academic skills which are vital for ongoing success.
