Ans1. The movement of Humanism was an intellectual movement also called as Renaissance. This movement was embraced by civic leaders, writers and scholars in 14th century and early 15th century in Italy. The movement of Humanism is an outcome of medieval conventions of scholastic in education at that time and was highlighted as practical, scientific and pre-professional studies engaged exclusively in preparation of job, especially by men. Essentially, this movement started as a literary movement and its influence promptly trickled down to general culture, introducing authentic Greek and Roman forms.
Ans2 Yes, indeed life for professional musicians in the Renaissance was very different from the Middle Ages. The medieval period and time duration of Renaissance was very different as there was transition in the format and structure of Western music. Essentially, during middle ages, monophony evolved into polyphony. While on the other hand, during the period of Renaissance, shell harmony that was active during Middle Ages was overcome by Ture Harmony
Ans3 There are two critical forms of scared renaissance music. First form is the motet which is a short, choral, polyphonic work designed for sacred Latin literature. The motet was designed as short religious harmony tradition such that it forms a communion. Second form of music is the Mass which is a longer work encompassing all the five elements of the ordinary.
