Now that you have created a marketing strategy and plan for implementation, you will need to present this information to your client (your chosen business). You will create a presentation sharing your overall marketing strategy.




You will need to use presentation software such as PowerPoint, Prezi, or another professional presentation tool. The presentation should be 10–15 slides in length and cover all aspects of the overall marketing strategy. Slides should be bulleted, with notes that explain in detail the information on each slide. Slides should be professional in nature and free from grammar and spelling errors.




Your presentation should address each of the following:



  • Characteristics of the marketing-driven strategy the company will take

  • Marketing segmentation strategy

  • Customer relationship management strategy

  • Strategy for collecting information about potential customers

  • Strategic partnerships the company could develop that would help promote both companies

  • Strategy for managing the top-selling product/service

  • Pricing strategy for one of the top-selling products/services

  • Digital strategy



Your presentation should also include the following:



  • At least two ideas for sales promotion, advertising, and sale promotion strategies

  • A plan to measure marketing performance

Characteristics of the Marketing-Driven Strategy
According to Cravens & Piercy (2006), the characteristics of market driven strategies include:
1.     Becoming market oriented.
2.     Determining distinctive capabilities.
3.     Finding a match between
customer value and organizational capabilities.
4.     Obtaining superior performance by providing superior customer value.
Becoming market oriented is one of the main strategic characteristics to be taken by a company (Cravens and Piercy, 2006). This says that a company is market oriented when it is constantly evolving itself to the core values of the company, including continuously striving towards providing a better customer value. But to achieve market orientation, greater skills of organisation are needed so that the business understands and is able to satisfy the customers (Slater & Narver, 1994). The main objective towards becoming market oriented is to gather information about the customers, rivals and market, and then analyse it to form a perspective of the market, whereby planning and taking actions.
Customer focus, competitor intelligence, cross functional cooperation and involvement are some of the various aspects of becoming market oriented, according to Cravens and Piercy. 
Distinctive capabilities are also crucial in making an advancement towards becoming market oriented. They are complex to achieve and are gained through knowledge and experience of organisational processes. It enables a business to fully capitalize on its assets. The main composites of distinctive capabilities are assets, organisational skills and processes, accumulated knowledge, and coordination of activities.
Creating value for the customers is a business strategy that finds its roots in the deepest understanding of the demands and the conveniences of the customers. The creation of customer value is very important for a market oriented business and the managerial departments are responsible towards it. Fulfilling the customer choices and demands, makes the company or the business successful. And for being successful, the company or the business has to gain positive usage response or experience from the customers about its products. This experience compared to the expectations of the customers delivers the customer value.
