Overview of the AssessmentThe individual assignment is to individually write an essay in which you analyse a case provided inclass. The essay should be 1000 words (+/- 10%).Specific Instructions1. Read and analyse the following case: Finding and Developing Employee Talent atDeloitte (pp. 112-113).A copy of this case is available via the Library Online Reading List for this subject. Ignore thequestions printed at the end of the case.Use relevant case information and relevant OB theory and research, including supporting researchfrom at least five academic-peer reviewed journal articles, to answer the following questions:1. Explain Deloitte’s management approach. From the company's perspective discuss whetherthis is an effective management approach and why.2. Identify and explain the strengths and weaknesses of Deloitte’s hiring program. In youranswer discuss the key personality characteristics you think Deloitte is seeking.3. Using your understanding of motivation, job attitude or perception, providerecommendations to Deloitte’s management team about how to improve hiring practicesand retain staff (Note: you do not need to discuss all three topic areas).Your analysis of the Finding and Developing Employee Talent at Deloitte case and questions shouldbe 1000 words (+/- 10%).
