assessments (these can usually be located on your chosen municipality's website) draft three






objectives that respond to needs identified in the community reports. Be sure to reference






these reports in the text. Anecdotal evidence can be included but






must be supported with objective data. These objectives should align with your program






description, the philosophical underpinnings of your program, and organizational statements.





Part I: Program Description and Assumptions Name of the program: "The Little Early Learning Centre" The philosophy behind the Little Early Learning Centre is that each child has their own personality and is capable of realizing their full potential if they are taught through a combination of play and real-world experience. The centre is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and serves children who are between the ages of three and five years old. The Ontario Ministry of Education has given its blessing to the establishment of this centre, which can be found in the center of downtown Toronto. The Little Early Learning Centre recognizes each child as an independent and capable person who possesses the potential to develop a solid foundation on which to build a learning foundation that will last a lifetime. Children's natural curiosities, creative potential, and passion for education are highly valued and encouraged at this centre. The centre complies with the philosophy that children gain the most from their education when they participate in hands-on and experiential activities that give them the opportunity to investigate and make sense of the world around them. The curriculum at the centre is meant to be adaptable and responsive to the children, taking into account their interests, abilities, and requirements. The center is committed to promoting children's physical, emotional, and social well-being which provides a nurturing and supportive environment for young learners. The centre acknowledges that the purpose of early childhood education is to assist children in reaching their full potential and to help them get ready for the future. These goals will be accomplished by providing them with opportunities to develop their full potential. The center believes that children need opportunities to express themselves and their ideas in a variety of ways, including through play, art, music, and movement. The centre is of the opinion that it is the responsibility of the educator to facilitate and support the learning of the children by giving them opportunities to participate in activities that are significant to them and which encourage their growth and development. The center values children's engagement in meaningful experiences that promote their intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development. It is expected that educators will establish an atmosphere that is secure, welcoming, and respectful; one in which the children will feel valued and appreciated. The Little Early Learning Centre recognizes the importance of maintaining a collaborative relationship with the families of its children and educators. The center recognizes family need to feel a sense of belonging in order to thrive and develop a strong sense of self. The centre acknowledges and appreciates the significant role that families play in their children's lives and values the contributions that families make to the expansion and development of their children.
