As a result, there has been significant discussions and investigations about the incident. Several enquiries have been made about the improvements to the electoral system through the use of technology that would reduce the chance of this sort of incident happening again. A report on the inquiry into the conduct of the 2013 federal election noted that “There can be little disagreement with the idea that the electoral system needs to harness the technology available to it, and there are many aspects of the electoral system where these reforms can be introduced, including building capability in electronic support for voting” (Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters, 2014, p. 1). Whole text books have been dedicated to the topic of EIA RA, thus in your discussion of EIA RA you will need firstly to be succinct, and secondly to be selective in describing aspects of EIA RA significant to an eVoting system. 3. It is not expected that you become an expert in eVoting, but it is expected that you demonstrate your research into the field as it pertains to EIA 4. As this is a master’s level course, you will be graded on your ability to put forward an argument supported by scholarly articles. Simply regurgitating the text book is not sufficient. 5. There is no correct answer and it is expected that students’ answers will vary greatly, thus there is little chance of accidental plagiarism. 6.
