· Stanford prison experiment is a notorious as well an interesting experiment on social psychology. Though the methods employed are not very acceptable, they shed light on aspects like how one will perceive the power and what can be psychological effects of the perceived power on the people. Around twenty plus university students are selected for the experiment. Some of them are selected to play the role of the prisoners and some of them were selected as prison guards. Altogether the impact of the prison pressure and environment are observed on both the prisoners and the people playing the roles of the prison guards. The experiments is ended abruptly even without completing the scheduled duration, the entire experiment observations are recorded and filmed for analysis.
