While solving the problems of linear programming (LP), four special cases and difficulties can occur when using a graphical approach: Inequality, weakness, redundancy, and alternative optimum solutions (Render, Stair, Hanna, & Hale, 2015).
Potential problems exist that affect any linear programming application. The optimal solution can be inflexible or unbound, or there may be many solutions. Degeneracy can also happen.
· Infeasibility: When there is no solution that meets all the obstacles given. That is, the obstacles are very limited and have not left any possible area (Arsham, 2015). This can happen when the problem was made with conflicting obstacles (Render et al., 2015). In the graph, this means that no possible solution area exists. A possible solution area optimization is a set of all possible points of LP problem that satisfies the obstacles of LP problem (Jones, 2006).
· Unboundedness: An unbound optimal solution means that the obstacles do not limit the optimal solution and the possible area is effectively spread to infinity. When the LP will not have a finite solution; That is, there is an unbeatable solution....
