Abstract
There are newer systems and applications that are being developed with the growth in technology. One such latest technological inno
vation is the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or the drones. These drones are being used in the delivery systems and their application is being explored by the retail organizations. There are different benefits that the drone delivery system can offer to the retail industry. However, there are a number of issues that are also associated with these systems. Some of the primary issues include safety and privacy concerns, criminal activities, and environmental concerns. The methodology that has been carried out for carrying out the research work is the qualitative method of research and analysis. In this method, the exploration of the research area and the research questions is done to gain answers to the same.

Introduction
Research Outline
There has been a stir in the media and the industrial retail sector on the usage of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). There are numerous purposes that the UAVs may serve, such as security and surveillance activities can be carried out with the aid of these tools. They may also be used for quick delivery of the packages to the end-users. The retail sector is also exploring the applications that UAVs may serve for the industry and Amazon, the largest online retailer at the moment is conducting numerous tests to determine the possible usage of the UAVs and drone delivery. The report covers a research on the same with respect to the retail industry.
Problem Statement
There are different benefits that the drone delivery system can offer to the retail industry. However, there are a number of issues that are also associated with these systems. These problems shall be considered before the implementation of these systems in the retail sector. Safety is one of the primary concerns that may emerge as the physical damage to the drones may be carried out by the malicious entities. The safety of the packages and the information sets will be at risk in the case of such an occurrence. Technical faults and failures will also be one of the major issues that may hamper the regular delivery to be carried out using the drones. Currently, the drones that have been developed are small in size and may not be an issue in the airspace. However, with the release of the big drones, there may be airspace issues that may also come up. There are also weather conditions that may impact the functioning of the drone delivery systems and will be necessary to be considered before these are implemented for the retail organizations.
Research Questions
The following research questions will be answered with the conduction of the research.
· What are the potential applications of the drone delivery systems in the retail sector?
· What are the solutions to some of the issues and problems that have been identified?
Literature Review
There are a number of retail organizations that are currently testing the usage and applications of the drone delivery systems. The first phase of testing was carried out by DHL in the year 2014 to delivery medical supplies to Just, an island in Germany. UPS has also been successful in testing the drone delivery systems and these can be launched from the top of a truck. Dominos delivered a pizza to a customer in New Zealand through drone in November, 2016. Amazon and Google’s parent company, Alphabet are also conducting the drone tests to incorporate the delivery systems in their delivery architecture. The consumer acceptance of the drone delivery systems is to a great extent dependent on the risks related with the systems, functional advantages that the consumers may witness with the implementations, and the characteristics of the technology (Khan, Tausif & Javed Malik, 2018). There are a portion of the apparent risks related with the drone delivery systems in retail; for example, there are consumers that trust that the drone delivery systems won't be reliable and won't almost certainly convey the items at the right area. Additionally, the arrival of the drone delivery systems is an issue for an enormous segment of the consumers. They trust that their own space won't enable the drones to arrive which may make harm to their packages. There are likewise risks of burglary that the consumers accept will increment with the drone delivery systems. A portion of these risks are significant; nonetheless, there are control estimates that can be connected to treat the risks (Chang & Lee, 2018).
It is basic that the clients are educated about these measures and the potential exercises that the drone delivery systems can complete. The research uncovered that the issues of rejection are to a great extent because of the absence of mindfulness among the consumers. It will be settled by giving the consumers the preparation and sessions on the fundamental ideas related with the drone delivery systems and the qualities and pros that it will give to the end-clients. There are likewise social and community standards that...
