Everyone experiences the natural process of aging. Physical strength declines with age, as does mental stability, while financial resources diminish due to the younger generation's neglect. Social workers assist elderly people and their families in addressing the personal, environmental, and social issues that come with aging. The primary goal of social workers in the elderly community is to maintain and improve the quality of life of their clients. This could entail understanding not only the medical issues of aging but also the cultural barriers, mental health challenges, and organisational challenges that the older adult faces (Li et al., 2019).
