We can choose a group of parents and their kids as the sample set. A set of questions with respect to respect shown, behavior towards elders under specific circumstances can be formulated and put to the group. Then their responses can be collected and the following hypothesis can be done( assuming that the responses were provided on a scale of 1 to 5 where each level - 0,1,2,3,4, 5 corresponds to some given behavioral response. )
Ho: there are no differences in responses of both groups-parents and kids
H1: there are differences in responses of both groups-parents and kids
A standard z-test for differences can be used.
