Option 2: Write an essay in which you critically examine real or potential issues associated with leader-member exchange (LMX) in a contemporary nursing workplace.
Details of task: Option 1 Advancing Care Delivery
Select a contemporary model of care, care delivery framework, or evidence based practice development that is of interest to you.  Make sure that it is possible to locate policy and published papers related to the topic.
Search and retrieve information that will inform you about:
•    A particular contemporary activity that is designed to advance the quality of care/care delivery in nursing.
•    What is known about the purpose, structure and outcomes of the development or intervention.
•    What is known about implementation needs, concerns, or issues.
•    What is known about the experiences of people undertaking or implementing the development.
Write an essay that reflects your reading and synthesis of key papers and documents, about the contemporary development activity.  Essays will normally:
•    Establish the nature, rationale and basis of the development.
•    Explore and discuss potential or likely benefits and outcomes that are gained or that can be achieved for the profession and for clients as a result of the development.
•    Identify and discuss what is known about the experiences of staff and practical needs associated with the development and its implementation.
•    Discuss likely or known strengths, weaknesses, or issues associated with the development (during planning or implementation or for evaluation).
