Your data could be that you surveyed people leaving work at the end of the day and found that 13 out of 50 owned an SUV. Test this hypothesis at the .05 (or another) significance level. Last week I read an article that left hand users are only 25% in the world. i.e. out of whole population of the world, left handers comprised only less than 25% while right hand persons are more than 75%. I believed that this might be wrong. I though though left hand persons may not be exactly 50% they may not be as low as below 25%
