    The sustainable practices that are adopted at home are numerous. Disposable items such as plastic bags are avoided. Instead, cloth bags, jute bags are used for the purpose of carrying things. In addition to that, a recycling bin is stalled in one corner of the kitchen in order to introduce the process of recycling to the children of the house. The children are actively involved in the act of recycling, in order to practice sustainability at home. The children are also taught to sort the garbage. This is primarily because, according to Poot-Pool, Cetzal-Ix, Basu, Noguera-Savelli and Noh-Contreras (2018), there are compostable wastes which can be used to increase the fertility of the soil. The children are encouraged to reuse items for the purpose of creating art and craft. Transition to renewable energy is also being practiced through the process of installing solar panels on the rooftops.
