The main aim of this article was to highlight the experience people may have when they look for a house to rent when they have low income. The objectives of Anglicare Australia were to analyze the possibility of Australians to rent a home in the private market. They calculated the monthly income and the monthly house rent that would not impose a burden on the people. The homes in the private area were looked up to find out what are the possibilities for renting a house for low income group of people.
The researchers faced some challenges while assembling this data. They had to first of all define the criteria of a suitable home for rent. Then they had to decide how much rents can a low income earner pay comfortably. Then they had to see if the rent money could allow the people to stay in an appropriate home (Cox, Pavletich, and Hartwich, 2017).
