Every state has a department of health website, but does everyone know how to access and use the information that is available on that site? Assume the role of a health care manager, responsible for patient education.

• Identify and familiarize yourself with your state’s department of health website. Include the link to the site in your post.


• Create a “user guide” for patients to assist in searching for important health issues through their department of health’s website. Include information on navigating to the following areas of the site:

• Format the user guide as an informational handout and be sure to focus on the content of the handout.
