You must compare and contrast the organization's Business Continuity Plan with an industry standard guideline. To assist you, I have uploaded into this course's Documents the NIST SP800-34 report as well as a related European document which includes the SP800-34 and other similar standards. REMEMBER: you MUST include the web link in your paper that will allow me to see your organization's original Business Continuity Plan! This paper is a Case Study that is meant to allow you to consider how well your chosen organization has addressed their Business Continuity issues. For example, if you use the SP800-34, you could use that document to form for yourself a checklist of categories of information that should be documented and properly addressed in YOUR organization's plan. You could comment on whether the organization seems to have properly addressed each recommended Business Continuity task, and, if not, what YOUR organization should add to their plan in order for it to be complete. Remember, too, that your organization's Business Continuity Plan should have sections of analysis, planning, activities, responsibilities, and management roles. The length of your Case Study paper may well be in the 5-7 page range, double spaced, 1" margins, with 11 point font. You may use tables to condense some of the information, but, if so, the explanations must still be complete enough for me to understand.
