Yes, I agree with you however it true and sad that most uninsured healthy and young tale good health for granted. The reason behind me saying it’s true Is because I know from personal experience. I am still fairly young however I remember at a time when I didn’t care about good health. I only cared about good health when I desperately needed it or it was too late. Which is not a good thing because anything can happen. As you stated being healthy and young, I too felt like I had no need for regular and specialty appointments. As i got older and with studying the healthcare management field I have learned how essential it is. Also, over time I started to notice things that needed attention, care, or even started to bother me due to the fact I ignored and took healthcare for granted. So as I got older realizing now I had to take better care of my self and use this good health and all opportunities as much as possible I did so. Not only do you notice things but the things we neglected while taking good health for granted are not repairable or too far gone. Being a young person myself knowing how thIs generation is i have quite a few techniques to help motivate and appeal them to enroll in health care. I believe and plan on focusing on the way to communicate, how important health is so they can relate in ways such as music or social media concepts. I would also use young idols and celebrities who are enrolled to give insights showing them they need it. Why not let it come from someone they idolize, or their music and social media something they use as a outlet or fun everyday. I believe grabbing their attention is the key and by doing that we must use what they admire most. I know that the young tech savvy healthy uninsured who believe they don’t need or have to have it can not be easily persuaded. Trust me I am sure there have been people who have, maybe not pushed much or tried to grab their attention but I am sure they have attempted to tell them they need good health. So with these means of communication we must go above and beyond, be loud to grab their attention and show how essential good health is in the world today and to everyone no matter the age. I am glad that even being young I know now and I take advantage of it and good care of myselfbecause it matters in the long run.

Young, healthy adults often do not take buying health insurance seriously because it does not make sense to them. It’s like buying a brand-new car and you’re trying to convince them the car needs a new engine. By that logic, you will have a hard time getting through them. Using an analogy that works, you’ll have to appeal to them using something they can relate to. I would appeal to what they like, for instance, since young adults like to be on social media, that means that they use plenty of data. I would introduce a program where we would pay for 30% of their data usage on the device of their choice fir two months provided, they would sign up for a premium insurance plan.
This is how I would appeal to them, when you bought an IPhone, most likely you bought insurance, why just in case something happens. Even though a phone can be replaced, you feel better because you have that extra coverage, however, if something were to happen to you, where is your coverage?
A serious accident or illness could put you on the hook for staggering medical bills that will haunt you for years. Also, if you have a chronic disease that requires a lot of medicine or treatment, for example, you might come out ahead with a more expensive premium that covers more services. (Gillespie, 2015)
