Processes I plan to conduct research and identify findings to complete the unit five project:
My research plan involves selecting the healthcare organization I used for my unit two and three submission assignments. The scenario will be based on my development of a crisis management plan for my chosen health care organization and I will start my research by reading Disaster Plan and Preparation in unit five my unique student experience. An emergency management plan and disaster preparation must include administrative safeguards such as risk management protocols. In the likelihood of a catastrophic event such as a fire, flood or disease outbreak, administrative emergency measures must be specific and consistently communicated to staff (M.U.S.E, 2019).
To assist in identifying my findings to complete the unit five comprehensive project I will use the criteria provided in the unit five assignment details and create my crisis management plan. I intend to use Google Scholar to review articles related to ethical approaches used in health care resource management during a crisis. Focusing on responsibilities of the authoritative chain of command, incident commander, communications officer and active crisis management team. I noticed in the unit five introduction a diagram that details important risk management factors such as identifying risks for risk asses and analyze afterward we can develop a plan of action. Once the emergency plan of action is implemented, we can measure success, control risk and monitor quality (SSRMA, 2015).

Abstract: Administrative safeguards must include management of patient related risks involving numerous situations and various possible outcomes. Patient related risk might involve neglect or abuse, a breach of confidentiality and the unsafe delivery of care. Risks related to patient safety can be reduced by developing a risk management team like key leaders to identify weaknesses and use collaborative initiatives to change policies (M.U.S.E, 2019).
Thesis Statement: Quality measures are required to track internal vulnerabilities in patient safety to provide protection against internal or external forces and a wide array of circumstances.
Introduction & Background: The following paper describes my approach to developing a crisis management plan for my health care organization and will be based on the criteria provided. As stated above in my plan to conduct research and identify findings I will describe or introduce my choice of health care organization used previously in my unit 2-3 submissions. I will benchmark the disaster plan of a similar acute care hospital to ensure best practices in risk management.

. Is it possible to talk with the Risk Manager or someone else at the local hospital to see if you can get a copy of their disaster plan. You might find it very interesting. Let me know if you try to get a copy. Another possibility is the local fire department or city government.
