Answers:
1) Privacy legislation is essential and needed as it helps to balance the government’s requirements to keep the information about the individuals and
their rights are safeguarded against the unwarranted invasions of their privacy stemming from federal agencies. Privacy legislation also helps people to have the right to access the information kept about them by the government and its agencies. This is actually a right for all citizens living in a society.
2) The care giver of Jeremy should keep him motivated and also take care of his daily diet so as to help me get over dementia over a period of time. This may include giving him organic food, avoid gluten rich food, make him drink more coffee and water to keep him hydrated. This would help him to stay mentally alert. He can also be given green tea and Vitamin D supplements. This would also make him energetic and give him the sense of his independence and encourage him to do his works by himself.
3) The personal care worker should communicate with Jaydia and keep him engaged so that he doesn’t feel isolated and neglected. The care worker should also not sympathise on him due to his drawback and rather should encourage him to stay motivated and communicate with facial and hand expressions with others. He should also be encouraged to use his hearing aids and avoid crowded and noisy places and be at calmer place to hear things properly. This would help him stay focussed and motivated.
4) Hamish’s dignity of risk should be appreciated and valued and in his stipulated time he should be allowed to live freely and do such outdoor activities...
