Concorde Crash Case Study
This case study will go through the famous Concorde F-BTSC (operated by Air France) accident on Tuesday 25th
July 2000 at around 14 h 50 min UTC. This case will go through the BEA’s technical investigation report [1] on the accident. The flight tookoff from Paris Charles de Gaulle at 14:42, followed by a flame breakout and non-retracting landing gear leading into a crash onto a hotel at “La patte d’Oie” in Gonesse. The accident accounted for death of all the passengers and crew of the aircraft.
