The teens and adolescents are continuing to develop their sense of self also referred to as the sense of
self-concept. In the work by Collins et al. (2020), it is mentioned that teens have a sense of self and empowerment that helps them stay connected with themselves and others in their age group. In the development of the child-centred activities and while working with the adolescents the individuals must be given space to be what they want to be, and efforts are made to understand how they feel about themselves.
