Introduction
This assignment has been based upon the Management Information Systems (MIS), which is having an influence in the Amazon. Management information has been commonly quoted as MIS. It has been referred to the study of the people, technology, organisations and the relationships, which has been existent among them. In this assignment first, it will highlight how audits of MIS are used in Amazon.
It will move on to highlight how the advantages and the opportunities of Amazon. These had been related to the Information systems, along with suitable recommendations. The work will reflect the total work procedure of the MIS. It would provide equally the varied linkages between the IT and the MIS. It will eventually produce in the conclusion between MIS and IT, with which Amazon had been receiving advantages. MIS had been a naturally successive factor for the success of Amazon and its business.
1) Audit of MIS Used in Amazon
Amazon has been using the MIS, which has been recognised as a vital tool for the competitive strategy. The audit of the MIS has been done in the Amazon with the application of the cloud systems (Amazon, 2020). This cloud system has led to the increasing efficiency of Amazon's technological processes for carrying on their online and the offline business. Next, Amazon has embarked on the utilisation of the five steps of the MIS. Firstly, the audit of the MIS had been used in Amazon’s sales marketing processes for the customers. Secondly, it has been used in the manufacturing and production of products (Laudon & Laudon, 2017). Thirdly, it has been used in the financial inspection of Amazon, in chalking of the profit and the losses. Lastly, it has been used in the dealing of the operation in the human resources and lastly for the employee relation enhancement.
All these five systems of the MIS operation have been done in the Amazon in various ways. First, through the above-mentioned five steps, Amazon makes a streamlining of its management activities. Next, it ensures that the customers have been offered with the diversification of the services through the MIS. It led to the progression of Amazon's Web Services, which promoted access to the platform of E-commerce. In these ways, the audit system of MIS has been progressing in Amazon (Amazon, 2020).

Amazon has received numerous benefits from the use of the MIS. It has been helpful for the increased processing of the data and storage capabilities. It allows Amazon to have reduction in their overall cost structure, which has been ideally suited for it. MIS being a technological system has increased the efficiency of the business processes of Amazon. It has been seen that MIS provides the data for the identification. It had been necessary for of the non-performing areas, which can lead to the betterment in business productivity. MIS has a higher speed, which can be shared with another IT and Amazon has been the first to have shared it and increased its efficiency.
This has been brought up in the annual reports of Amazon (Seham, 2020). The one of the main advantages, which MIS carries along, is that its cost of the implementation has been much lower compared to IT.IT had been seen that MIS had been used for the increasing technological grip of Amazon. The mode of the online and the offline business of Amazon had been totally handled by the MIS. It had been seen that MIS had first fixed the budget of the products. It had been sold from Amazon. Next MIS checks the profits and the loss.
